Curious about Classes?

Hello hello!
So glad you are here and thinking about coming along to our upcoming Glos HQ Pole and Aerial Open Day!
It’s the perfect opportunity to pop into the studio for a chat and to get your bearings, to watch some pole and aerial training in action for you to see what class is all about, and try out pole and aerial in a taster session yourself
Here is what we have in store for you:
Sunday 18th of January
Glos HQ
1pm Meet and Greet
Meet owner Anna and teachers Vicky and Clare for a quiet studio tour, chat and Q&A. This is similar to a first look consultation where you get to know us and the space, similar to what you get in a gym induction (but more fun 😀).
1.15pm Teaching Demo and Real Life Class
Observe snippets of a live pole and aerial training by Momentum students of all levels. We show you how we coach, what content you learn as a beginner, and the support we offer in our lessons.
1.45-3pm Pole and Aerial Sampler Sesh
Your opportunity to take part in a pole and aerial taster session with teachers Vicky and Clare. Zero prerequisites or experience required and you get a chance to try ALL of our different disciplines.
The two hour open day package is only £15 to attend, and you can rock up at any time between 1pm and the start of our taster session at 1.45pm!
WHY COME TO AN OPEN DAY?
Our open days are designed to meet you exactly where you are at.
Just want to pop in and see the studio? Maybe ask some questions in an informal setting and have 5 quiet minutes to chat to someone about classes, options, disciplines and worries? We got you!
Really want to see a class or training session live? You have zero idea about who’s in sessions, what to expect, how a pole or aerial class works in the first place, and why pole or aerial is an epic confidence-boosting and strength-building workout? Come along and sit in on a demo and jam session of people in the Momentum student community!
Ready to dive in and give it a go? Just want to explore pole training and aerial fitness to see if it’s for you? All cool, come and join our Taster at the Open Day!

All the Qs and As
How much is it to come along?
The Open Day package including meet and greet, teaching demo and your 75 minute taster session is £15. Booking is essential, please click here to reserve your space. If you just want to come for the taster and none of the bits before, all cool, please just arrive for 1.45pm session start 🙂
How does booking work?
All bookings are made on GoTeamUp, our booking system. The reason why we need a booking is to ensure there is space for you and the taster session isn’t overbooked, also for insurance purposes. We cannot take cash on arrival, so please ensure you have registered for your open day slot online. Book here!
If I take part in the taster to try a class myself, what can I expect?
We will do a group warm up, followed by some foundational poses in pole fit, aerial hoop and aerial fabric. You can circulate and swap disciplines, or just stick with one. For the full low down on what happens in a taster, head to our Taster Guide. It details how a warm up works, what to wear, what to bring and even contains videos of the sorts of moves you will be learning!
Where is Glos HQ, is there parking and can I get changed at the studio?
Our Gloucester studio is in the heart of town at the old matchstick factory, with free parking. We are a little tucked away, so please allow an extra 5 mins on the day to find us, and head to our Glos HQ venue description page here for detailed directions and even a video to walk you from the car park into the studio.
Is this right for me?
“Help!!! I’ve never been to anything like this before! I cannot do a pull up or the splits! I am over 40! Can the equipment even take my weight???”
Don’t worry, we hear these questions all the time – and the answer is that there are ZERO (and we really do mean zero) prerequisites to trying a pole or aerial taster. In fact, you can get to advanced level without doing a single pull up or the splits, we’ve got instructors in their late 40s and our equipment is rated to pull a car. If you’d like a little more context, head to our Taster Guide to help soothe nerves and worries.
