Our very own, varied, fresh, workshop-style classes that run MONTHLY. You can book these drop-in as part of your memberships and lesson packs, or for the standard drop-in price of £16. Bargain!

All of our monthly masterclasses are designed to offer you workshoppy material, every month, and without breaking the bank, delivered by your trusted Momentum instructors, as well as guest teachers coming to visit the studio.

Perfect if you’re looking to mix things up, add a new pole/aerial string to your bow, want to try something new, or simply add some monthly extras to your training!

We’ve ensured there is something in there for everyone, with pole, heels pole, a ton of aerial, flexibility and pilates options for all levels!

What’s on every month

POLE

RUSSIAN HARDSTYLE

  • When: second Monday of the month, 7.05pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Kaelin
  • What: a fierce and fast Russian hardstyle heels class – kneepads recommended for comfort, heels optional but recommended.

FLOW AND FEELS

  • When: second Tuesday OR Wednesday of the month, 8.10pm
  • Where: Cheltenham Rodney Road
  • Instructor: Steven and Jess on rotation
  • What: a mix of pole dance and flow classes with different styles, from flirty and slinky, to pole tricks in heels and lyrical. Please see the class description on GoTeamUp for focus on different months and prerequisites.

POWER POLE

  • When: second Friday of the month, 6pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Megan
  • What: an intermediate and advanced level pole sesh for anyone looking to do strong power tricks and combos.

INVERT MECHANICS

  • When: last Friday of the month, 6pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Kaelin
  • What: a beginner and improver sesh to hone, refine and boss your invert on the pole!

AERIAL

AERIAL STRAPS PARTY

  • When: first Monday of the month, 6pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Anna
  • What: Aerial straps sesh for all levels – learn shapes, strong holds and condition like a beast to be your strongest pole/aerial self. Perfect for cross-training!

DYNAMIC AERIAL SILKS

  • When: first Tuesday of the month, 7.05pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Guest teacher Phoebe
  • What: beats, cheeky dynamic drops and transitions! As long as you have some pre-existing aerial experience and are happy to climb and invert on the silks, this is for you!

AERIAL ROPE PARTY

  • When: first Tuesday of the month, 8.10pm
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Guest teacher Phoebe
  • What: aerial rope sesh for all abilities! No prerequisites, just 4-6 weeks of pole, aerial or other bodyweight exercise.

AERIAL SLING TRICKS AND COMBOS

  • When: second Monday of the month, 6pm
  • Where: Bournside Sports Centre for all the height
  • Instructor: Shay
  • What: aerial sling sesh for all levels to learn holds, tricks, combos, cool drops and dynamic elements! Perfect for cross-training for your aerial and pole gains.

CHINESE FLYING POLE

  • When: second Friday of the month, 7pm (one third Friday – please see GoTeamUp)
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: Megan
  • What: Chinese flying pole class for all levels, no prerequisites other than 4-6 weeks of pole, aerial or other bodyweight exercise.

AERIAL HOOP MASTERCLASS

  • When: last Friday of every month, 6pm OR 6.30pm (please see GoTeamUp)
  • Where: Glos HQ
  • Instructor: all your Momentum hoop gang on rotation
  • What: every last Friday of the month, your Momentum hoop instructors bring you a masterclass with their own unique flair – hench, strop work, dynamic, we’ve got it all! You will find the focus in the lesson description on GoTeamUp.

FLEXIBILITY

We have one flexibility or pilates class running every week in a 4-week rotation 💖

Flexy sessions are around 45 mins of strength and stretch, before having fun with cool and quirky flexibility poses for 15 mins where you can take photos too!

We will livestream these sessions so you can join live from the comfort of your home, for FREE if you are a recurring monthly member. Simply book the online class on the system and you will be able to join the livestream from your booking confirmation email/your GoTeamUp account. We then also email out a class recording to everyone on the online class register to enjoy the session in your own time too!

Flexibility and pilates classes are uploaded onto our on-demand library in the new Momentum app – so all Momentumers with a lesson pack or monthly membership have access to a growing library of on-demand flexy sessions!

Mondays 6pm Pilates with Laura at Glos HQ, in person and live on Zoom, every 4 weeks

FRONT SPLITS

Mondays 7.05pm Lickety Splits with Kaelin at Glos HQ, in person and live on Zoom, every 4 weeks

HIPS/MIDDLE SPLITS AND FORWARD FOLDS

Tuesdays 6pm Hips’n’Bits (middle splits, pancakes and hamstrings) with Lily at Glos HQ, in person and live on Zoom, every 4 weeks

FULL BODY FLEXIBILITY

Tuesday 8.10pm Full Body Stretch with Jess at Cheltenham Rodney Road, in person and live on Zoom, every 4 weeks

Momentum Monthly Masterclasses Qs and As

How much are monthly masterclass sessions? 

You can book monthly masterclasses with a credit from your membership or lesson pack. Alternatively, you can book a space at the standard drop in rate of £16 for all pole, heels and aerial sessions, or £10 drop in for flex and pilates.

What level do I need to be to take part?

Please don’t be put off by the title masterclass in the season names. These monthly workshop-style classes are for all levels, with some catering to beginners, others to advanced, and some being open level. Please refer to the session info and description on the booking system if you’d like to know more about exact prerequisites and levels for each individual masterclass.

Are any of these free? 

Yes the flexibility and pilates sessions are free when you select to attend online.

I am not a Momentum regular, can I still attend?

Yes please absolutely – our monthly mini-workshops are open to all and you do not have to be a Momentum client to attend! We’re looking forward to training with you x

Do I have to come to the same masterclass every month? 

Nope! Feel free to mix and match, shop around, and dip in and out as and when you fancy. Please just be aware that our standard 24 hour cancellation policy applies.
