When visiting us at our GLOUCESTER HQ for the first time, please use the postcode GL1 5RZ when needing to access parking. If you’re walking, cycling, or once you’ve parked your car, use Momentum Pole & Aerial in Google Maps and it will take you straight to the front door of our unit next to the BBQ society and Hetty’s Kitchen.

Please find accessibility and detailed directions below, or watch our video below that walks you through the industrial estate to the front door. The studio is a little tucked away, so allowing an extra 10 minutes before your first class to find us will make all the difference.

Accessibility

The pole and aerial studio at Gloucester HQ is located on the first floor in Morelands Trading Estate which is a Victorian warehouse and factory building. The constraints of the building mean that there is no person lift available, despite the site featuring a goods lift, and the only access to the studio is via a metal staircase.

Toilet facilities

A gender-neutral toilet is located in the first-floor studio itself, with further toilets in the hallway that are shared between all first-floor businesses.  None of the toilets are accessible toilets.

Assistive Hearing Loop

The building does not have a hearing loop. If you have any hearing difficulties, please ensure the instructor knows at the beginning of the class/get in touch with us before your first sessions so we can discuss with you how to ensure the lesson is both accessible and safe for you.

Wellbeing and quiet areas

Please be aware that classes can be noisy and there is usually music playing in both of our studio spaces at Glos HQ. GlosHQ has a reception area with sofas in the smaller pole studio space (second door), a shared waiting area in the hallway, and a small kitchen with access to water and hot drinks. All areas of the studio are open to all clients at all times. If you need a quiet moment, please feel free to let your instructor know and you are welcome to head anywhere that works best for you. For fire safety purposes, please ensure your instructor or TA know where you are planning to go.

Parking and travel

There are several free car parks in Morelands Trading Estate with accessible parking spaces. The site is often busy which may impact availability of parking spaces.

Glos HQ is situated in the heart of Gloucester along Bristol Road and close to Gloucester Quays. The site is serviced by a range of bus routes, stopping either on Bristol Road or nearby in the city centre. The train station is a 20-minute walk, or short bus, taxi or cycle ride away.

If you cycle to the studio, you are welcome to lock your bike inside, just as you come in the downstairs door, or send your bike upstairs using the goods lift.

INSTRUCTIONS

By car:

There are three free car parks in Morelands Trading Estate, all accessible from the entrance on Bristol Road. The two main car parks are situated at the end of the tunnel leading you through the estate. Another smaller car park is situated immediately to your right as you enter the estate from Bristol Road and do not drive through the tunnel. Don’t worry, if you feel like the estate is feeling very industrial, you’re definitely in the right place!

By bus and on foot:

Morelands Trading Estate is in the centre of Gloucester, next to Aldi, opposite JDR Karting and a 5 minute walk from the Quays. There are a number of bus stops dotted around that stop either on Bristol Road, adjacent roads or the Quays, depending on which direction you’re coming from.

Finding the Studio in Morelands Trading Estate:

If you are arriving by bus/on foot/on your bike/park in the front car park:
As you come into the trading estate from Bristol Road, turn right immediately and go through the tunnel with pieces of artwork and graffiti. Turn left at the end of the tunnel and walk half-way down the alley. Look out for a huge blue door on your right-hand side, marked with yellow railings, with a Momentum sign above, just next to The BBQ Society. Find the buzzer for unit 54B if the door is shut and we’ll buzz you in.

To find the studio from the main car park at the centre and the back of the trading estate, walk past the tunnel you’ve just driven through to the alley furthest left. Walk straight past the tunnel and you will have signs for Cotswold Foam parking to your left. A massive sign for Cotswold Foam will be in front of you, and we are located in the same building. Turn right when you’re at the massive Cotswold Foam sign and walk half-way down the alley. Look out for a huge blue door on your left-hand side, marked with yellow railings, with a Momentum sign above, next to The BBQ Society. Press the buzzer for unit 54B if the door is shut and we’ll buzz you in.
