Momentum Pole & Aerial is a local small business established in January 2017. We grew from a pole fitness one-woman-band into a wonderful playground for pole and aerial training across the Cotswolds that offers classes to adults of all backgrounds.
Owner and founder Dr Anna R is a pole and aerial practitioner with over 10 years of training, numerous professional courses, ongoing professional training opportunities, and aerial arts and fitness, safety in aerial arts, anatomy and physiology, coaching and yoga qualifications under her belt.
Her mission is to provide immersive classes that welcome and cater to every BODY, and allow people to enjoy getting a sweat on! We want people to find joy in movement and exercise, and appreciate their wonderful bodies for what they can do, not what they look like. Class is for you to enjoy, become stronger, grow a little more confident, hate exercising a little bit less, make friends and do something good for your bod and yourself!
The teacher team at Momentum Pole & Aerial is made up of a bunch of knowledgeable, trained, insured, friendly and encouraging people who will teach you to master incredible feats!

Anna Rohnbogner
Anna is the owner and founder of Momentum Pole & Aerial and our parter company Momentum Veri Coco. Anna has been poling since the summer of 2010, first twice a week at Pole Crazy in Bournemouth as a student (epic school!), then as an instructor while studying for her PhD at the University of Reading, and finally pouring her love for teaching and her students fully into Momentum Pole & Aerial. Along the way, she’s picked up a lot of qualifications, masterclasses, training courses and certifications, as well as getting to grips with her second burning love, aerial straps. Anna is an enthusiastic yogi, skier and traveller who feels most at home in the mountains, owing to her roots in Bavaria. Anna’s classes and Momentum as a company are built on a solid foundation of understanding the physical and mental benefits of pole and aerial arts, providing classes that are a safe space for students to grow their self esteem and body confidence.

I love teaching my students whether they are beginners or advanced polers. I hope to inspire and empower them but most important is that they enjoy every single class and feel good about themselves, both during and after class!

What I love about teaching aerial and acro is, learning more about how our amazing bodies (and minds) work. I get a lot of joy from finding out each person’s strengths and movement style, and helping them to work with their body (not against it!) to achieve things that make them feel proud.
My teaching style is knowledgeable, friendly and engaged!

Chloe/Coco Bijou
I never felt I fit in at the gym or other classes and could never remain consistent. After looking at local pole classes, I signed up with a friend. I remember the first class being awkward and not knowing what to do with my body, but trusted the process and went back for another class – I haven’t stopped since.
After a couple of years in a local studio, lockdown hit and I started taking online classes with Momentum. I also passed my teaching qualification during this time, so in September 2021, I officially joined the momentum team!
Since then, I have continued my pole journey into competing, performing, hosting events and growing with momentum! The studio, team and students are so joyous and I couldn’t be a part of a better community 💜
I teach pole, heels, choreo and flow, and I also manage the Momentum IG social media!
Best part of the job: watching my students achieve stuff they never thought they could and believing in themselves!
My teaching style in three words: slinky, playful, supportive!

Lottie
“I started my aerial journey as a student with Momentum in a mixed aerial class in March 2022. Was an aerial silks, sling, straps and hoop and it was so challenging, realised I had no upper body strength. But I wasn’t giving up. Came back to another mixed aerial class and realised I fell in love with aerial hoop. Took myself to a beginners hoop class and haven’t stopped hooping since! The confidence it gave me in my body getting stronger has been incredible. In Jan 2023 was asked to TA and I was over the moon. Love being a cheerleader for all the students. Now Sept 2024 am a qualified hoop teacher! Sharing the love for the sport.’
